Nurse visit

Some nurses say congrats but others always have to put you down and make you worry ( I know it's for your own good ) but still don't tell me I'm to young to have a baby I'm totally against abortion and I just wish people were more nicer I guess & I'm 18 trying to keep my head high

Got that t-shirt. You just got to be the best Mommy you can and prove them ALL wrong. I'm 27 and still get that look when people find out my son is 7. But he wants for nothing. And now we have baby #2 on the way. Good luck and keep tour chin up.

I find it funny when people are so quick to judge young mothers. In the Rennesance era teen girls were looked at to be mothers as soon as they started their periods. They handle it without modern resources(some even helped with ruling countries), why can't you.

It's not their place to tell you you're too young. You know you're a young mom...no reminder necessary.  If you're happy and it feels right keeping you're baby, then that's the right thing to do for you. I'm 23 and people comment on how young I am having a baby and it drives me nuts! At least in my experience, sometimes they'll make a comment and mean well by it but it just comes with the wrong message. Just brush it off and say something like, "yeah, I am young," and leave it at that. Whether they meant it as criticism or just didn't know what to say, try not to take it to heart.
