Cost of miscarriage

I just went through a d&c after losing my baby at 9w3d. There had been no sign of miscarriage until my first ultrasound, so I chose d&c over waiting. Because it's not something generally discussed, I wanted to share that the cost of my surgery was nearly $2,000 after insurance. (Without insurance it would have been over $12,000.)
