Baby on left side?

I am 15w 1d I can feel my uterus while laying down. When I wake up first thing in the morning I feel my tummy and it's always hard on my left side and it feels like my uterus is on my left. I poke the other side and quickly realize that has to be my bladder because unfortunately I almost pee myself. Is this common or is my body just weird? Or is it gravity, I typically sleep on my left side also. Tia
