Struggling

My wife and I have been together for 4 years and married 7 months. We have been TTC for 2 months and have been unsuccessful. This has taken a toll on us really hard lately, and we could really use some advice as to what worked with other lesbian couples. We have a donor picked out who we love and we only have 3 vials left. We took this cycle off due to the fact that I have a cyst that has to go away before we can attempt another medicated cycle. I have heard a lot of couples on here getting pregnant by doing an at home insemination...what's the trick? I don't even know if that is a possibility for us. We just really need some advice on what's worked for you!
