How would you feel?? Engagement ring.
So 5 years ago my bf proposed to me. The ring I had (4 princess cut squares to make a big square) i managed to get one of the diamonds out not long after, I still have the diamond but that ring has been sat in the box ever since still waiting to get fixed so inbetween ive just been wearing another ring I had.
Last month we went to buy a new ring. So I've been wearing that as my engagement ring. And I said to my bf that he should have proposed again properly with this one only for him to come out with that's not an engagement ring you've already got a engagement ring (that's sat in the box broke) this made me really upset and I put it in my other hand and said now it means nothing coz 'its not an engagement ring' some how he managed to creep and put it back on my other hand and said ok wear that one until we get your other one fixed but I'm still upset. I wanted this ring, the new, one to be our engagement ring it meant everything to me now I feel crushed.
Do you think I'm over reacting? Or am I right to feel this way? Don't get me wrong I'm not ungrateful or anything but when he said that it was made very clear to me what this ring meant to me. Everything.
