27 Echoed heart beat?????

Im 27 weeks and baby hasnt been moving a whole alot which idk but i his heartbeat sounded...echoed...i might sound crazy but i thought he might of been next to my heart beat but then i found it again on the other side and it sounded echoed again to. Is this normal? I just wanted to hear his heartbeat but now im more worried. I dont think their twins im not dumb but my husband was a twin his died and they didnt know about it untill he was born. But that would be crazy now a days js. But what could it mean?

I'd talk to your doctor if you're worried. But this is one of the reasons the FDA is warning against the use of this equipment at home by someone who is untrained.

The other day my midwife found a heartbeat that sounded echoed and she said it was the umbilical cord so it could be that you are hearing!

The placenta blood flow is also heard on the doppler, as well as the baby's. I  don't use a doppler myself, I rely on the baby's movements as an indication to how she's doing. Maybe ask at your next appointment if you can listen to the differences if you will be doing it yourself at home, but it is always recommended to leave it to someone trained.
