Birth control

So im 16 and I want to take birth control not only because I'm sexually active, young age I know but im safe about it but I want to take it for other health reasons to such as my period and avoiding acne etc. I have done my research on different types of birth control.

I'm just scared to talk to/ask my parents about it, because god know what they will say or happen, I'm just afraid their going to find out I'm sexually active at a young age and don't want them to disappointed in me

Any advice?
