When do i take the test?

Not sure when I should take the test. We've been ttc for a bit. I have one that says you can test up to six days before AF. AF is due the 12. Would taking it on the 9 be too early. I know the box says six days but I am wanting personal experience.

I'm due on the 11th I took a clear blue an it was neg ...so I'm waiting til then glad I got a 2 pack  ...good luck
