My boyfriend said I'm not strong enough, that he too strong for me. What that suppose mean?

Idk, ask him what he means..if you don't think its emotional, ..maybe it is in a physical sense and either he is afraid to accidentally hurt you (sex, etc?) or wants you to be more athletic ?? Idk
