This might sound so selfish.. But I'm just looking for advice to get thru this. I'm born and raised in New York. My husband was raised in the military lifestyle so he doesn't quite understand how hard this is for me. But my husband and I met when he was stationed in New York. We are now on our first PCS together, and it's all the way in hawaii. My family and I are supper close. And this is going to be seriously hard on me and probably my marriage. I need advice to help transition the move. I've heard all horrible things about hawaii. My mother in law who has moved all over the world, Hawaii she was never able to transition too. And this woman is strong and can handle anything. I've heard the crime and break in rate on post is insane. I'm just freaking out. Can anyone help?! Have any advice for me at all that might make anything easier?!
