help please

So recently my SO and I have been having sex a lot. It's unprotected and he does cum inside of me. The last time we had sex was yesterday and afterwards I was very swollen down there. But since the 11th I have had a slight itch after we had sex, now it just hurts and I have noticed a few cuts/scratches(for lack of a better word) on the inside of my vagina. Is something wrong with me? I'm concerned and it's obviously bothersome to have it hurt a little. He is also the person I have ever been with, if that makes a difference.
