Possible to get yeast infections when you go without sex for a while?

I was abroad for two months and when my partner and I had sex when I returned, I developed symptoms of a yeast infection again. EVERYTIME I go without sex for a month or so, I seem to get one. Is this because of latex from condoms or just a normal occurance?

Things like this are all about changes in your pH..switching soaps, taking new medication, the change in your body between having sex and not. Your body had gotten used to nothing being up there and then you introduced this "new" thing and it just kind of freaks out.

Could be, try switching to latex free next time, see if it makes a difference

It could be a million in one things but if it happens with sex it could be what ur using also try eating more yogurt and taking ur vitamins

Take daily probiotics from walgreens or walmart, cvs pharmacy anywhere. Take the one with 25 billion live cultures. It works for me!
