Spotting the day before periods suppose to come, implantation or period ?

Hey there! Spotting prior to a period is completely normal. It is due to hormonal changes that take place in your body. Implantation bleeding is mistaken many times. I have experienced spotting for years.

I had implantation bleeding with my first pregnancy. I mistook it for my period but hindsight it is kind of different. It was much lighter in color and seemed to have clear CM with it as well. I wasn't TTC at the time so I just put in a tampon and was on my way but when the bleeding didn't get heavier...that's when I took my test. Hopefully this helps.
