Don't tell mom (bc)

So I just started Trisprintec birth control. I'm old enough to make my own decisions and I make my own doctors appointments pay own bills etc. Today is my first day taking birth control and I'm nervous. Although I am sexually active with my Love, the doctor prescribed this BC because I have rapid mood swings and painful periods with cramps. (No cysts or anything, he says maybe just hormone imbalance). Anyone have any helpful and kind advice? I hope my mood swings even out and I hope my sex drive doesn't go away. Just don't tell mom
