Trying to get pregnant!

I have been trying to get pregnant for almost 2 years. I went to the doctors office in the beginning of October. To find I PCOS. They put me on Metformin I took it for 2 full months but I just couldn't handle it anymore? What else should I ask my doctor to put me on to get pregnant? I really want to start my family. Would love to hear all the advice that you have. :-)
