Rubella non- immune?!?!?

I just got my tests back from my first dr appointment and to my surprise I'm not immune to rubella even thou my mom swears I was vaccinated..... What does this mean for me?  With ppl who exposed millions of people to measles in DISNEYLAND and now it's been found at a game place in the Bay Area where I'm visiting????

While rubella is packaged with the measles (and mumps) vaccine, they are 3 separate diseases. Rubella was officially eliminated from the US in 2004. It's extremely unlikely that you'd be exposed to it.

Same thing happened to me!!!  I got the call yesterday giving me the news.  Crazy!!  My husband and I were planing a cruise for our babymoon in a few months, but now I'm not so sure that's a good idea!! 
Can't get the vaccination while prego, but going to get it soon after for sure!!!

I'm the same way. Vaccines can expire, mine expired. You'll need to ask your doctor about where you're traveling. Bring up that you heard there was a measles outbreak. My doctor says they'll give it to me after my son is born.
