Yes my Dr, my OB/GYN and my Re have all said Saliva is bad for TTCing so it is not myth. The acid in your saliva used to break down proteins and help you dissolve food can harm sperm plus saliva is not as fluid as you think and can keep sperm from being able to swim

I've gotten pregnant twice, both times using spit as lube. The first time it took 3 months to get pregnant. Then after I had my daughter We waited until she was 2 to try again and pregnant within 2 months. So spit didn't kill anything for me:)

That's a myth I've never heard! When you are ttc salvia a natural lube that you should use instead of a gel or oil which would slow the sperm down.

I received oral all the time, but also used preseed lubricant.  I don't belive that idea that saliva harms the sperm though
