Spotting on cycle day 17 with tiny clots!

The first day of my period was 1/15/15 it was 5 days late. It ended on 1/22/15 now on cycle day 17 Isn't spotting earlier today I had tiny clots when checking cm... what could be going on? My opk is negative, and I have NEVeR had spotting between periods!!
