Got AF but temp still above cover line?

Not asking for false hope, I just want to understand what's happening...*
So I thought I was pregnant (felt nauseous and had cramps and increased appetite and urination). But then, lo and behold, AF arrived exactly on time. So my question is, why hasn't my temperature dropped? It usually does but it's still above the cover line and I'm on my 3rd day of AF! Any insights?
