When to reveal pregnancy!

I am currently 8 weeks 1 day and I am scared to tell my family about the baby I feel like if I tell them about the baby something will happen. I don't know if I sound crazy or what but I am afraid to say anything before I hit 20 weeks.

I told mine after the first appointment. A friend explained it this way to me "If I were to lose the baby at an early stage I would want my family and close friends to know why I was grieving."

My mom always lived by the rule of the third doctor's appointment to tell family. By that time, you're out of your first trimester {so risks go down tremendously} and you're confident baby is healthy at that point 😊 We told our parents before then just because I was so sick my first trimester and just needed help from mommas. As far as FaceBook, we waited until I was 20 weeks so we could do gender reveal and to make sure all family knew and didn't have to find out on social media 😊

I would wait until 12 weeks, then go nuts! That's when chance of miscarriage gets slim!

Wait as long as you need to. My husband and I only told people we KNEW would be supportive IF we had a loss. Didn't tell "everyone" until after 20 weeks.

Go with your gut, and do what's. Eat got you and your heart. 😊

I told my sister and my husband told a trusted friend intill we got to 12 weeks so if anything happened we'd have someone to talk to. We told all our family at 12 weeks and announced to our friends after the 1st scan. X

I am honestly afraid of saying something then having myself loose the baby and not know what to say.

I waited until after the first ultrasound so I could see the baby and know for sure because I didn't have any symptoms at all. I was 10 weeks 5 days
