Bassinet? Cot? Or both?

So im due in August and tryna decide whether il get bassinet,  cot or both at the same time. I was think bassinet will work for the first few months and then I could get cot. Or should I just get both at same time?  =P

We have a crib but I'm getting a Fisher-Price Rock 'n Play Sleeper for the first couple months--it was really recommended by lots of "blog moms" and I think it's going to work fabulous! 😊

I'm just using a crib from day one cuz it's going to be in my bedroom anyways I'm getting a convertible one so I'm not bothering with a bassinet.
