OPK question

When do I start testing? My cycle is very irregular from 15 to 36. Glow stated that I should have been ovulating last week but instead I got my period and still light/brown bleeding. Is it okay to start testing right after my period or do I wait? One month I have two periods and then another month I have none. I M/C 6 months ago, at 9 weeks. Just really confused and any input helps. THX
