Hey ladies I need a little help here....

I've been with my now fiancé for 4 years going on 5. Been trying for a long time to have a little one. But nothing happens😔 My last period was Dec 23, 2104 and I still don't have my period. I am scared to take a test only because I don't want to be disappointed and have a BFN. A few months ago I did miss my period and waited for two weeks to take a test and it was was a BFN and the next day I got my period. I so do not want to go through the same thing again. Some symptoms I've been having is sore breast, headaches, hot flashes, sometimes I feel like I'm gonna faint, tired all the time...what should I do? Should I just go ahead and take a test or wait it out?
