Yes, even at 25, I already know just how much of life I would have missed out on if I got pregnant at 17. Plus, with the exception of a very few rare instances, you can't even possibly be financially ready for a baby. Which means either your folks are going to be footing your bill or I will be, and I don't want my taxes going to a 17 year old parent who was just too lazy for a condom. Accidents happen, but what you're asking isnt an accident.

If you are somehow financially independent and with a stable living envrionment but not you're parent, then yeah, but what 17 year old is? I'm 18 and I can't even get a job at McDonald's.

Yes. You haven't even started your life yet. And in about half the developed world, you aren't even at the legal age of consent (including most of the US!)

Finish high school, and get a short career if you really want a baby already. My SO and I finished high school last year, he studied welding in high school, didn't finish but he continued to study that and got his license not too long ago, now he has a great job. I'm about to get my cosmetology license this summer, I currently have a job as a receptionist in a hair salon, and when I get my license they have a job opportunity for me close to where my fiance works. Now that I'm so close to finishing we started TTC for baby #1!!😁

I had my first under 17 and as much as my son is my pride and joy. I advice you to get an education and some money and stability before having a child. It has been a tough journey at times and I would suggest waiting honey. X

I had my first at 17 and I am trying for another and I am 18. I am married and my husband is going to collage to get his wielding certificate then he will have a job making starting out at $21 an hour so if you are stable then it don't matter it is up to you.
