When should I tell him.

When I was a baby my dad died. My boyfriend knows he's dead just doesn't know how he died. We've been together for over a year now but it's still a touchy subject. My dad committed suicide and even though I was too young to remember it's a not a conversation a take very well. My boyfriend wants to know because the anniversary is coming up and he thinks that maybe we could go park somewhere and we'll talk about it. I don't want him to feel awkward and I don't want him to feel like I'm making it so sob story. I don't what to do honestly. 😩
