Does anyone have a heart shaped uterus?

The dr I saw says they have to wait until 2-3 weeks to do a sonogram and see if it will be an issue. I'm 4 weeks pregnant. Does anyone else have this? Have you delivered normally? Are there any precautions to take? Thanks!

Yes, when I was younger my ob actually told me I have a bicornuate uterus (horned, not good) but after seeing a specialist he said I have a heart shaped uterus. I'm not sure how different yours is but the way they explained it to me is that basically the uterus had a little indent in the top and that my uterus is smaller. They said I will have normal pregnancy. And so far so good ! 😊

My friend has one. The Drs told her basically it all depends where the baby implants. I believe she said if it implants in one of the "horns" it could cause problems. Basically it's 50/50 chance if it implants in the "safe" area. But everyone's different. Good luck!

I don't know how drastic it is either-they just said less room-I asked and the dr said she won't be able to look for a few weeks, not sure why. I'm gonna look for another dr

I had a friend who has one...the doctors said it would affect the pregnancy, it just meant that most likely she would have to have a c-section, which she did
