Help question!!

Today was a rough day I ate a bagel for breakfast and before I knew it it was lunch time. I had a half salad half sandwich at 1140/12. By 2:00 I had cramps on my side and I felt like I didn't eat all day. I immediately ate a yogurt and tried eating carrots. By the time I left a meeting at 6 I felt just as I did at 2. 
Has anyone felt like this?
