Hi everyone I was wondering if any mommies to be have the same issue I do with the pertussis vaccine. I had a severe allergic reaction to the vaccine when it was first administered to me as an infant and almost died. As a result I haven't received anymore updates. My doctor informed me that most women get a little booster in their 3rd trimester because adults normally pass the illness on to children unknowingly. But I will obviously not be updated. I'm concerned about my little guys exposure to the whooping cough when he is born since he didn't get any in uterine immunity. I'm being a bit paranoid but I was just wondering what was handled differently for other mothers with a similar issue . (Ps please no debate on vaccines themselves )
