Do you ever call off of work because of cramps or other period related symptoms?

Occasionally I feel so bad that I want to call off, but I never know if it's appropriate or what kind of excuse to give. I'm afraid they'll ask for a doctor's note or something! Lol

Sometimes my cramps are so bad I can barely move and I throw up everything I consume, even water. When it gets to that point and I absolutely can't work then I have to call out but I think that's only happened once. Luckily my period normally starts on my days off!

No I never have. I'm not at a place in my career where I can afford to miss random days or miss a day a month. I've worked through some pretty bad stuff and always just work through the pain. I've only left work knce for a medical reason.

I unfortunately can't call in on days like that :( I am a stay at home mom so most of the time I have to deal with the pain until my husband gets home and takes me to the dr

I have only when it gets really really bad like I feel I'm gonna pass out from the pain or go to the ER. Now I'm on BC so should happen anymore
