Nuvaring?

I just started the nuvaring. I started it on the 4th day of my period and I'm wondering if it's true that you'll be protected right away. I love how I can just forget about it for three weeks, and I can't feel it at all :) I've been using a condom anyway but I was just wondering.

Anyone out there like the nuvaring too? Any advice? And is it normal to experience nausea and headaches at first?

You're supposed to wait 7 days at least before you stop using alternate birth control. That's what my gyno said anyway. Be safe!

I've been on mine for a month now, and I love it! My boobs are sore all the time, but that's honestly not a big deal to me.. It's comfortable, and as far as I know you're protected right away, but good for you for using a condom also!!

I had the nuvaring and my SO could feel it during intercourse and when it was close to the time it needed to come out it would start to fall out it fell out during sex as well I got off that quicker than ever  good luck with yours though

I liked nuvaring. I started it on my 4th and 5th day and was protected right away. I was extremely nauseated on it. My discharge was a lot and thick. I had yeast infections on it. When taking it out it was pretty nasty lol. Apart from that I liked it.
