Waiting forever for an appointment
Alright. This is more of just a rant because I'm being one of those crazy, irrational first timers. My husband and I just got the news 2 weeks ago that we're expecting ☺️ Awesome news. But immediately Im concerned because the women in my family have a history of pregnacy complications.
So I'm on here and I hear about all you beautiful ladies having appointments at 5 or 6 weeks and having vaginal sonograms where you can make sure the sac is forming properly or can be seen or what have you. People getting bloodwork done to make sure levels are normal.
Here I am (maybe) 6 weeks or more pregnant and I can't get a doctor in the DFW area to see me until the last week in February! They keep asking me how far along I am. I wasn't actively keeping track of ovulation and the last two months of 2014 were insanely hectic so I'm not entirely sure if what I think was my last period might have actually just been spotting.
I'm frustrated because my concern doesn't seem to be registering with the offices I talk to.
