When is the RIGHT time to have kids?

I've known my Boyfriend for 5 years we have only been actually dating for 2 months he is 25 and i am turning 21 tomorrow we are apartment shopping right now andi just heard from his uncle that he has already been looking at promise rings when is it the RIGHT time to have kids... I'm still young and in School he 25 so that's a little bit of a difference???

Wait until you have lived together.. That will really put the relationship to the test!

Just talk to him.  You really need to be able to talk to your guy if you think this is for real.  Tell him everything you have said on here. Tell him you just want to enjoy him, and youth for awhile.  If he is a good guy, this should not be hard to understand.

After much longer than 2 months. I knew my husband for 6 years and we still dated for a year and lived together for a while. If he's looking at promise rings than he might as well get an engagement ring in my opinion.

You need to talk with him and be on the same page. I would rec living with him and being in the relationship longer before though. You may have been friends for a while but sometimes being in a relationship with them is completely different. Give your self some time before making that jump :)

We were married 12 years before our first kid. It will be 16 yrs by the time #2 shows up. That may seem like a long time to some people. .. but we married young. I was 20. And while I adore our son, having those years with just my husband and me are also very cherished. I think it's ok to wait a few years before having kids.
