Is everything okay?

I have my first appointment with my OB on Monday. I have been having mild cramps in my lower abdomen. And today had light brown blood. Everything I've read says no big deal but personal stories on here say otherwise. I'm 6w1d and incredibly nervous. First baby too.

I am in the exact same situation! I'm 6w1d and have been having some spotting (more like brown colored discharge when I wipe) and some cramping. I went to the OB yesterday and he said everything looked fine! Couldn't see heartbeat bc too early, but my cervix was closed and he didn't find any reason to be concerned. He said spotting is totally normal, usually bc of implantation or sex, and unless you're filling up a pad with active bleeding, don't worry. Good luck!

My doctor always recommends coming into to see him or go to the ER if they're closed if there is any bleeding throughout my pregnancy. It could be nothing but I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks 1 day with light spotting. I didn't take his advice and come in instead I stayed at home and put my feet up. The next day I woke up in so much pain I passed out I went to the doctor they did an ultrasound and they couldn't find a heartbeat and my HCG level divided in numbers. So it could be absolutely fine and nothing be wrong but it could also be something so if I were you I'd get checked just in case.

Everything actually could be fine. But I know you won't believe that. Not really. And trust me googling won't help anything. Just makes it worse. I just had a miscarriage at almost 7 weeks. I was fine and then woke up one morning and had blood everywhere. Found out my hormone levels dropped and I miscarried ended up having to go to the hospital because the pain was unbearable. However mild cramping and light brown blood is normal. Your body is growing for the baby. And going through a lot of changes. I woke up with red blood. And a lot of it. Could be just your body growing for the baby. Good luck! And I hope everything works out for you.
