Are stretch marks preventable?

I had stretch marks on my hips before I got pregnant, I got them during puberty when I started to grow and I also have some on the inside of my upper arms which is kinda weird lol! They are barely noticeable now though.So I'm just prone to them and now I have some nice fresh pink ones that started to appear at around 12 weeks, I'm 21 weeks now. I just keep putting cream on my tummy to stop them getting too bad

Some can be avoided by eating well and exec resizing and not gaining weight super fast but even then, if you're going to get some it's gonna happen

I said yes because because people use cream,baby oil or whatever and it makes them go away:)
