Has anyone else had a stillborn?

Its been 3 years now. And I still struggle every day. I had a complete placenta abruption only 8 days before my due date. I guess I'm just looking for someone else who understands what I went through. Maybe they have some insight on how to cope. It feels like it was just yesterday still... :-(

We lost our first child, Kaiden, 7 months ago.  I was overdue 10 days when we went to be induced and were told his heart had stopped beating.  There was nothing cause found for why, which is hard to have nothing to blame or to not have any answers.  Everyday hurts, honestly counselling has helped us so much.  If you haven't been or are not currently in some form of counselling or a support group I would recommend it.  Having a place to grieve where people understand and can validate what you are feeling will help.  Knowing that I am not crazy for feeling the way I do helps me.  Also I grieve openly and talk openly about Kaiden.  That doesn't mean I force my situation in people's faces but yes I talk about my son and when I was pregnant.  Those months that I held him inside me were the happiest and proudest moments of my life and why wouldn't I talk about them?  If it makes people who nconfortable then they can leave, my child died but that doesn't make him any less my child.  Everyone else talks about their children so I feel I can too.  Believe me the people who truly love and support you will allow you to grieve and will support you whether it is 3 weeks, 3 years or 30 years we will always mourn our children.  People should accept and respect that.  I wish you peace, courage and support.  Hugs and love

I lost my boy Peter on due date. Got pregnant a year later had another boy 15 now. It's been 16 years and it still hurts, specially on his birthday. I'm really sorry for your loss.

Yes I have had one at 24 weeks with my little girl Emma Rose in 2004 and my son at 17 weeks Collin dean in 2009... They were my worst nightmare come true I think about them everyday and the pain just gets easier to deal with .... Till we meet again.....

I just lost my baby boy, Logan David last week, I was 35 weeks. It stills seems like it didn't happen sometimes, and I feel guilty when I feel "normal". I think my biggest fear is that when we get all the reports back that it will say something that may affect a future pregnancy.

It really is hard! I think no matter the situation when a mother loses their child its always hard to deal with. Everyone tells me it will get easier. The only thing that has gotten easier is hiding it and closing up. I've been wanting to try to have another baby but I think my husband is to scared to try again. I almost died from internal bleeding when I lost my beautiful baby boy. I'm not sure what to do.

Yes I was 6 almost 7 months.  It was the worst, it happend in November and we have been trying ever month since then.

I'm very sorry for your loss. It isn't easy. I had a placenta abruption also at 17 weeks. They thought I was healing and said contractions and bleeding were normal for the placenta abruption and after 30 hours of constant contracting my water broke and I thought maybe it was my body healing up, not realizing it was my water that broke. Wet my pants twice basically to go downstairs to get water and somehing was coming out. I thought maybe a clot, but it got bigger and bigger. It was my baby girl. I was in such shock that lucky for me, I didn't decide to look. I seen the silhouette and knew she was bigger than my hand and she remained in my sweat pants until the ambulance came and cut the umbilical cord and took us to the hospital. It's been 3 months and still hasn't sunk in.  I can't imagine what it was like for you to be so far along. That is now one of my biggest fears. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and hopefully time will eventually begin to heal.
