What do I do if I'm not ovulating?

I was never the type to record my periods growing up. I use to keep track in a calender when i would remember to but now i find apps to be easier. My SO and I decided to start trying in December. I've been off the pill since December 17. I've not had any symptoms of ovulation and I've not had a period since coming off birth control. Two apps told me a week ago was my projected ovulation. I did the OPT all week and not even close to getting a second line. I don't have a doctor because I'm not a citizen yet and the visa is pending. So is it possible I just haven't ovulated? Anything I can do to help start ovulation?
