Delay your period?

Is it possible I could delay my period for a week? The answers I got on Google seemed really sketchy so I'm wondering if anyone's tried/succeeded??? I'm going to Puerto Rico the day my period is supposed to start and I don't want to deal with that when snorkeling/swimming/etc

I heard if your on bc and you just continually take your pills and not the sugar ones you won't get ur period. It's worked for other people but not for me bc my flow was always heavy

You can use a tampon. I believe delaying your period is unhealthy depending on how old you are. I'm 19 been having a period since I was 10. I've delayed it once, and got really sick the second time

Yes you can - there's a pill your doctor can prescribe you to delay it for as long as you're taking it. My mom used it before and it worked perfectly, she absolutely loved it.
