Metformin in pregnancy?

Question

For those taking metformin for PCOS, How long are you taking it into your pregnancy? Until the 1st trimester ends? The whole 9 months?

I'll be asking my midwife about this when I have an appt in 2 weeks, but just curious about everyone else's experiences.

I was on it until I gave birth.

My endo wants me on it the whole pregnancy! I’m currently 26+5. Prevents GD and may lower miscarriage rates in 1st trimester.

My endocrinologist said to stay on it until 20 weeks. Right now I am 11w3d.

I stopped about 18 weeks. My MW said to just take what was left of my script after the first trimester.
