What's your opinion?
I am 15 years old. My periods last about 6 days, and tend to be slightly heavy. I usually have mild acne. And I get weird cramps. They don't hurt very much. It feels more like twinges. My periods are very irregular. I am in a serious relationship, but not sexually active. My parents and I, all in the same household, gets kind of crazy. My mother says I am too young for birth control. While my father says I should get it. My mother thinks that if I get on birth control, that she is condoning sex. I plan to wait until I am older to have sex. But she won't believe that. My father said that he knows I will have sex eventually, and when I do, he wants me to be protected. My father also said that as long as I am honest with him, he will provide birth control, condoms, etc. I was wanting to get the pill for the irregularity of my period. But my mother still doesn't want me on it yet. What is your opinion on this? Do you agree with my mother or my father?
