Pain with full bladder?

So last night I drank a bottle of water before bed and figured I would just need to get up in the middle of the night. I didn't. Well this morning I woke up and had the worst cramps across my stomach/abdomen, it really freaked me out bc it was worse than the urge to pee. When I went to the bathroom it felt like the cramps got worse while urinating but then slowly started to subside afterwards. Has anyone had this?? I go to the Dr. tomorrow so I'll ask there too.
