Difficulty getting pregnant again?

This isn't regarding me, but is regarding someone close to me (please don't pass judgement it is their life) they are ttc with difficultly, happily married, healthy couple. Previous relationships have gotten her pregnant and I believe she's had 4 abortions and am wondering if that's why she is having difficulty.

If they were all surgical abortions, it's possible. Abortions can be very hard on the uterus, RARELY you can experience scarring that hampers conception, and with each abortion, that chance goes up. She can have her uterus looked at for scarring and receive some advice on how to go about ttc.

I know someone who's gotten way more abortions then she has and she's finally pregnant. My best advice would say to take a break from ttc don't plan sex, don't use any fertility tools, stop trying for a week to a month and it will happen. I was ttc and that's exactly what I did, for some reason I always stood by "when you plan something out it doesn't always turn out the way you want it to be" so I just stopped! and I found out I was pregnant!
