What do you think is the best method of contraception and why?

I've been on depo, the pill, and now have an IUD. I gained weight on depo and didn't have a period which constantly made me think I was pregnant. I experienced no side effects other than a perfectly symptom free and regular period with the pill. I set an alarm on my phone and took it at the exact same time every single day. I loved it but had to switch due to a family history of blood clots. I like the low maintenance and reliability of Mirena but I get serious ovulation pain and irregular periods. Plus, it hurt like he'll to have put in and if it gets displaced I would be in serious trouble.

I honestly Love the Depo shot. You get it every 3 months and I prrsonally have no periods at all which I find absolutely fabulous. I tried the pill, but couldn't do the every day thing and my weight made the implant an issue so the shot has been perfect.
