Relationship advice?

People usually talk about 'opposites attract' but in my case I don't think being opposite is helping. I'm a person who is very outgoing , I love dressing up , going out, besides school and work I want to enjoy life with my SO. He on the other hand doesn't like going out at all. He likes staying in (and I don't mind that because I don't need to go out all the time) but I want to atleast go out somewhere with him (besides restaurants/ movies). We argue all the time because of this. I come from a big family (Puerto Ricans) & his family isn't big. He is a great BF but I think we are just in two different stages in our lives. I don't really know whether just to let it be or try & work it out. Most of the problem is with me because I don't have a lot of time to see him because I am a full time student plus work. But could it just because I'm not into him as much? What do you guys think.
