Recent EP - need some insight

Hi ladies, I just had emergency surgery Tuesday to remove my ectopic pregnancy, I was completely devastated, but also well informed in what could have happened, so I do consider myself lucky.  They were able to remove the baby and save my tube.  I am going to the doctors this morning to have some blood drawn to check for remaining Hcg levels, if any.  Anyway, how long does this process take?  How long until you are back to a "normal" cycle?  What were you recoveries like?  I will be a week post op tomorrow.
