Is it really true?

So, I came across a term. "Free-Bleeding". Apparently, it's where extreme feminists choose not to wear hygienic products whilst on their time of the month, for it is "oppressive" to women, and that, since "tampons were invented by men" that also coined a term "tampon rape", using that as an argument for this "free-bleeding". Apparently, it's catching on, as well, there is a supposed "free-bleeding sit in" happening in Texas soon. But is it honestly real?
