When did your parents and your SO parents met for the first time?

My parents and my SO parents recently met. We have been datinf for almost 9 months now. I'm curious as to know when other people thought it was appropiate for their parents to meet.

My parents properly met my SO parents at my 21st party. My mother hardly ever drank but that night she did, well she introduced herself with a bottle of bud between her boobs and asked his mam does she like to "shake it", that was right before she was handed a shot of Mickey Finns and she shouted "green mickeys, SWALLOW" not her greatest moment, but it did break the ice. They get on great now 😂😂😂

My boyfriend met my parents exactly 19 days after we were official. I only know the exact number because he met my parents on my birthday. He was terrified but they love him so it's all good now lol

He was my brother's friend and college roommate. He met my parents before I "officially" met him. ☺️

We've been together two years and he still hasn't met my family. I rarely go visit them because they're so ridiculously judgmental and I'm the black sheep of the family (so I moved out of state).

I adore his family though. I met them just under a year of being with him and I feel beyond comfortable with all of them. He has 3 brothers, 3 sisters, a niece, his parents, and all but 2 of the siblings have SOs... it's a big, fun group and I adore them! 💕

I've known my husband since he was 12. He was my brothers friend. So they've known him way before we started dating (18 years later).

Purs still haven't met and we got married in dec. he's family randomly lost their minds and was rude to me for something they THOUGHT I did even after my husband they were crazy and proved them wrong. Of course they wasn't happy to be wrong and they said horrible things about me all over Facebook and my family wants nothing to do with them. Now I don't have anything to do with them and my husband checks in weekly but nothing more.

Within the first 2 weeks. It was important to my boyfriend, so inevitably it was important to me. 
They don't communicate much if not at all, but they do get along, and that's good enough for me.
