Encouraging & hopeful fact...

I've been talking to a couple friends about m anxiety over my age & just getting through the first trimester. One friend has 5 kids, the other has had 4 mc's (and now has 2 perfectly healthy boys). Both have been tellin me that once you hear/see fetal heartbeat that the risk of miscarriage goes down by like 90% or something. Well after hearing it from the 2nd friend, I decided to do some "research" of my own. I read last night on americanpregnancy.org that assuming it's a good strong healthy heartbeat, it's true. In an otherwise healthy (not high risk) pregnancy, rusk of mc goes down to 4-6%. Now I'm even more excited for my 7 week u/s!! Can't come fast enough!! Just thought us share. XO
