Cartilage piercing?

How painful is it? And which ear should I do?

I have multiple piercing in the cartilage of both ears.  I don't think it really hurt at all but the healing can be a bit of a pain. Be careful how tou sleep and your hair around the piercing. Keep it clean!

It doesn't hurt at all! I didn't even feel them do it. But sleeping on it is annoying

Mine hurt. It was like when you ears get cold and ache. That's how mine felt for the rest of the day. Got it the second week in jan and still hurts sometimes now. Rarely tho. Just keep it cleaned! Takes 6 weeks to fully heal.

Mine is on the right side. Getting it done didn't hurt, but it was sore while it healed. Doesn't bother me now unless I lay on it too long.

Mine is on the left. It didn't really hurt when they pierced it, but it hurt occasionally for a few months after. I toss and turn a little bit in my sleep, and if I sleep on it too much it'll hurt. And then when it's cold outside and my ears are exposed, it hurts then too!

I was crying before she even did it so I may just be a big baby but I thought it hurt really bad and it hurt to sleep on for a while and after mine healed I tried to use different earrings in it and every single one irritated it so I've had mine about 5 years going on 6 and still have the earring they pierced it with in
