TTC after TR

I am 37 had my thyriod removed in 2012, in metformin for PCOS. I have five children including a set of twins. Had tubes tied in 2002. Had a tubal reversal on Dec 3 2014. Since then I have had irregular bleeding to include large tissue looking clots. I am getting depressed and frustrated. The dr says it is just irregular uterine bleeding, but I never had this before the TR. Anyone in a similar situation? I am very sad and feel like giving up on TTC!
