Im 5 days late for my period negative hpt help???

Question

im 5 days late for my period took a pregnancy test this am and its negative why and how?
im constantly peeing my boobs strike pain few times a days I feel nausea every am I'm sooo tired this has been like this a 1 1/2 weeks.

I got off bc (birth control pills) November/December from October to December I was getting my period 2x a month January it was regular I started having unprotected sex feb 9th till Feb 23rd my fertile days were feb 10th till Feb 15th I think I had implantation bleeding on feb 20th I only spotted once.could I be to early to test?

I got off my IUD and had no clue what my periods would be like. 5 years without periods. I had one period which was just bleeding cause I took it out, and the next month had another one the same week but it was implantation bleeding I guess. Who knew? I surely had no idea. I found out I was pregnant the next month after that when I had bled yet. I took a test every two weeks or so after IUD removal since I wasn't on bc. I still had no clue how far a long I was. Found out November 25th that I was exactly 7wks with my first ultrasound. Sometimes a test won't be positive until it's been 4weeks plus because the first week of pregnancy or so you're not really pregnant yet because implantation hasn't occurred. You also need enough hcg in your urine for it to be caught. I would wait a little longer and test again. If negative still go to the doctor and have a conversation. No process is ever the same for two people. Hope this helped.

It can take a year for our bodies to go back to normal after coming off birth control, your body may not have found its natural cycle yet and this could be why you are late. It could also be that you have ovulated later than you thought or the egg hasn't implanted yet. When you get to two weeks late I would see your doctor for blood tests. Good luck x
